Gwen Stefani announced this week that she will begin a Las Vegas residency this summer at the Planet Hollywood Zappos Theater. Her show “Just A Girl” will open on June 27th, with tickets going on sale this Friday. Stefani revealed the news on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and she told the popular daytime talk show host that she is really nervous but excited about her first Vegas residency. However, the conversation quickly turned to the topic that fans can’t get enough of – her relationship with Blake Shelton.
USA Today reports that one of the first questions DeGeneres asked was, “How’s life with the sexiest man in the world?”
“Gosh that was quick,” Stefani replied, seemingly impressed with how quickly the question came. “I was wondering how long it was gonna take.”
She went on to say that Shelton has gotten sexier and just keeps getting better, cuter, and more country.
The Hollaback Girl said that she gets nervous when she talks about Shelton, and she doesn’t know why that is, but when the cameras are rolling, she feels like she shouldn’t say anything.
But, DeGeneres continued to push and even brought up the possibility of marriage. She prefaced the marriage questions by saying that Shelton and Stefani have been together for a long time and it seems like they will eventually get married unless their past experiences have led them to decide that things are okay as they are.
She, of course, was referring to Shelton’s marriage to Miranda Lambert and Stefani’s to Gavin Rossdale. But, DeGeneres gave Stefani some advice and said that she thinks she should marry Shelton.
When Stefani answered, she made it seem like the possibility of marriage wasn’t completely out of reach. Stefani said that she loves weddings and she and the kids love Shelton. Basically, everybody loves the country superstar because he is lovable.
When DeGeneres told her to just think about it, and that there isn’t any rush, Stefani said that she thinks about marrying Shelton all of the time, but she isn’t sure if he thinks about it.
As for her Vegas show, Gwen Stefani has dates scheduled in June, July, and December of this year, and also in February and March of 2019. She says that $1 of every ticket purchased will be donated to the Cure 4 the Kids Foundation, which is a Vegas charity that provides medical treatment to kids who are facing life-threatening conditions.
