We have learned that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton haven’t actually given up on the plan of becoming parents one day. However, after their recent miscarriage, the couple has decided not to try anymore but instead let nature run its course and hope for the best.
‘Blake and Gwen have decided to put the plans to have a baby on hold. Their feeling is that if it happens naturally….great. But they have decided not to focus on it for the time being,’ one insider explained.
48-year-old Gwen is already the mother of three boys from a previous marriage with Gavin Rossdale, and they are super close to Blake who has proved to be a super good stepdad.
At the same time, however, Gwen wants to offer the country crooner a baby considering he doesn’t have any of his own.
But seeing how things didn’t work out the first time, both have agreed that it ‘might not be meant to be.’
‘He’s completely at peace with the prospect of not having any biological children of his own,’ the insider added.
Blake and Gwen have been romantically involved for almost two and a half years, and their relationship is stronger than ever which means that they’ll most likely manage to work through anything and still stay together.
Whether they have a baby or not, the pair will still be very happy.
Considering that they took the decision to let things happen naturally, it looks like it might be taking some time until Gwen gets pregnant, if ever, as Shelton is now on tour and Gwen is super busy on The Voice where she is one of the coaches.
