'Gotham' Returns And The Seth MacFarlane Comedy 'The Orville' Premieres Tonight On Fox With A New Contest

New shows are coming this fall and Fox is kicking things off in high gear. First, Gotham returns for Season 4 and fans are excited to see Bruce Wayne take his place as Batman. Known for its many origin stories that chronicle the rise of Gotham's villains, the show is a fan favorite and excitement is high for tonight's return. Gotham airs from 8-9 p.m. ET and is followed by the new series The Orville.

Seth MacFarlane, the creator of award-winning shows like Family Guy and American Dad , is at it again with The Orville . The Orville consists of 13 episodes and is a sci-fi, comedy adventure series that will star MacFarlane and Adrienne Palicki.

A special two-part premiere aired on Sunday, September 10 and September 17, but tonight will be the official launch for the series in its Thursday time slot. Fox is also celebrating the show with a new contest.

David Mazouz pays young Bruce Wayne and on Wednesday, he held a live Facebook chat where fans could interact and ask their questions.

As Gotham has endured three seasons that focused on villains it's now time for Batman to emerge and take his place in the fight for the city he loves.

This promises to be a ground-breaking season for Gotham and now that the origin stories have been revealed, it's rightful time for Batman to emerge the victorious hero that he is.

Seth MacFarlane is the creator, writer, and executive producer of The Orville and stars as its main character Ed Mercer.

Though The Orville will premiere on Fox tonight, it will not be the first episode. If you missed The Orville Season 1, episodes 1 and 2 "Old Wounds" and "Command Performance" they are available for viewing through the Fox app and on HULU. You can also find them on the Fox website or through your cable or satellite provider.

A new episode will air every Thursday from 9-10 p.m. ET and tonight's episode is titled "About a Girl."

In celebration of The Orville, Fox has launched a contest. You must download the Star Walk 2 app in order to search for the Orville ship. The app is available for both iOS and Android platforms. Once you find the ship, share by clicking the appropriate icon in the upper right corner of your screen. Hashtag your post with #TheOrvilleStarWalk2.

The contest runs until October 7, 2017, and make sure you have your app open and running when the winner is being selected.
