Gossip Girl alumni Jessica Szohr dished on the allegations against Ed Westwick during an interview on the 22nd of November, Wednesday. Jessica – who co-starred along with Ed and even dated him at one point – said she doesn’t “think he would ever put someone in a position like that.”
When speaking with Cosmopolitan, Jessica chose her words carefully. She stated, “you don’t want someone you know to go through that or do that to someone.”
However, she asked the question, “are they stretching the truth?” The actress from Shameless – who dated Westwick from 2008 until 2010 – said to Cosmo that she hasn’t spoken to the actor ever since the accusations hit the mainstream media.

Jessica added that she knows “he’s going through a difficult time,” and women are accusing him of something that he claims he didn’t do.
She said, while hypothetically speaking from Ed’s perspective, “the truth will come out, and hopefully people see that and hopefully, that’s it.”
Szohr said she “has to be careful because it’s not my situation and I don’t – I wasn’t there.” As you may already know, Kristina Cohen accused Ed of raping her three years ago in a Facebook post at the beginning of the month.
Since then, two more women claimed Ed either assaulted or harassed them. Westick denied the allegations made by the 27-year-old Cohen by Twitter. He said, “I do not know this woman.”
A source from the LAPD confirmed that they are currently investigating the charges against the actor. As a result of the scandal, the British Broadcasting Corporation pulled the upcoming special titled, Ordeal By Innocence. Additionally, they stopped the production of the second series of White Gold.
