As you may have heard, Gigi Hadid slammed Jake Paul after he insulted her on again, off again boyfriend, Zayn Malik and she held nothing back! While the former One Direction member chose to stay silent and not respond to the controversial YouTuber, the supermodel dragged Jake without mercy.
Now, one insider revealed why she was so quick to defend Zayn and why her response was so savage!
Gigi went after the Paul brother and apparently, she is never scared of going after ‘bullies’ like him so her close ones were not shocked by her response.
The source tells HollywoodLife that ‘Gigi is fiercely protective of her loved ones and she’s someone that always stands up to bullies. Gigi is all about fighting back and is not afraid of conflict. She is really not someone you want to mess with because she has a backbone of steel and she is very smart. If this happened to anybody else she cared about she would’ve had something to say but she is extra protective of Zayn, that is her man and when you mess with him, you also mess with her.’
It all started with Jake claiming he crossed paths with Zayn in Las Vegas while at the Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury II fight.
He accused the singer of having an ‘attitude’ and telling him to ‘f**k off’ despite Jake being nothing but nice to him.
