Are Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik engaged? On Monday afternoon, Miss Hadid was spotted as she made her way to a hotel in New York. The fashion model was dressed very casually in a black bomber jacket, matching leggings, her favorite aviator shades, and a pair of designer running shoes. However, it was hard not to notice the Victoria’s Secret Angel’s new accessory – a diamond eternity wedding band. The 21-year-old played with her phone, hair, and kept her hand in the right position so the paparazzi following her could get great pictures of the bling.
Of course, the photographers shouted questions like, when did Malik propose? When are they getting married?
Hadid ignored all the questions and kept walking to her destination. So, what is going on with Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik? Are they getting ready to say “I do” to each other?
Before the Christmas holiday, a close source to the face of Guess said Mr. Malik had already popped the question, and she said no.
The spy, who sold the story a few weeks ago, claimed that the former One Direction member had set up a romantic soirée, went down on one knee, and asked the green-eyed belle to be his wife.
The “Like I Would” singer was surprised, but she said no. According to the insider, Hadid loves the singer, but she is not ready for marriage.
She is very young and wants to focus on her career for the time being. The person claimed: “She’s only 21 and doesn’t feel ready to tie the knot, so she turned him down. She’s seen her mom go through two messy divorces, so Gigi wants to make 100 per cent sure Zayn’s the one before she makes a lifetime commitment.”
The source added: “They broke up and got back together almost right away. Right now, it’s back on, but it could be off again in an hour. They are young and keep going back and forth. Things are testy between them.”
It was also revealed that Hadid wanted to take it slow because she knows that Malik dated Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards for two years, was engaged to her for another two when he sent her a brief text message and told her it was over.
The ring on Hadid’s finger proves that she has decided to overlook all of the arguments above and said yes to the man she loves.
