Aside from the fact that she's been in the entertainment industry for quite some time, when Meghan Markle started dating Prince Harry, her visibility skyrocketed.

It's been quite the whirlwind romance for the model, actress, activist and UN advocate in the last year and a half since beginning her relationship with Prince Harry. Yesterday, that culminated in a public address to the world as the two announced their engagement .

Celebrity Insider broke the news that Prince Harry and Meghan were, in fact, already engaged back in October . So what beauty tricks does an almost princess (okay, Dutchess) count on to keep her looking her very best? It makes sense that someone with a history of modeling and acting would have her beauty regimen down to a science and it appears she does.

When sitting down with Birchbox recently, she spilled all her beauty tips. Markle isn't big on a lot of foundation, she has freckles and she doesn't want to cover them up. Instead, she puts foundation in the spots on her face that need it and blends it in with a beautyblender. This prevents having too heavy of a coverage over her entire face.

For those 4 AM set calls after dashing from the U.K. to Toronto where she was filming Suits , the show she has recently left, she would use a highlighting pen like Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat in the corners of her eyes. This helps give the eyes a brighter, more awake look and easily masks sleep deprivation.

Markle also loves a good hairspray and flip of the hair, she uses this to give her hair more volume when it may be weighted down by other products. She suggests using the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray which is great for varying hair types and textures.

The 36-year-old also revealed her top beauty secret: facial exercises. That's right, this beauty makes sure to massage her face with her fingertips and engages different muscles in her face by doing a few key moves with her eyebrows, her cheeks, and neck.

This helps to activate her skin and tightens her facial structure. No botox or facial required!
