Georgina Chapman Will Receive Close To $20 Million Following Divorce From Weinstein

Georgina Chapman reportedly will walk away with a giant chunk of money following her divorce with the disgraced producer, Harvey Weinstein. E! News revealed that the agreement involving Georgina and her ex-husband would lead to her receiving around $15-$20 million.
As for their children, according to a report from People Magazine, Georgina will retain primary custody of their two children together, but they’re still working on how to divide their marital assets.
However, neither party has filed documents or spoke publicly on the matter, but the couple did confirm that they agreed to a divorce settlement in December of 2017.
In October of 2017, Georgina released a statement where she stated that she had to leave her husband because of his transgressions.
Through Harvey’s spokesperson, he continued to deny the allegations and admitted that he and his wife had decided to do what made her happy.
Georgina said her “heart breaks” for all of the women who suffered painful experiences because of her husband. She asked for the media’s respect and her privacy at that time.
Alyssa Milano – who is a friend of Georgina – stated that she was going through a rough time following her separation from Harvey.
Obviously, the circumstances were about as unfortunate as it could get for her and of course, for the alleged victims of Harvey’s egregious misconduct.
Harvey is just one of many men to be accused of similar crimes since late last year. Most recently, James Franco didn’t show up to the Critics Choice Awards to receive his award for Best Actor because of mounting allegations against him as well. It all started with Ally Sheedy’s cryptic tweet where she hinted at his alleged misconduct. At this point, many people are wondering “Who’s next?”
