Season 8 of Game of Thrones will not premiere until April of next year, but fans are still eager for any details about the fate of their favorite characters. Although HBO has been diligent about leaking spoilers, Game of Thrones star Lena Heady recently dropped some behind-the-scenes footage on social media.

The actress, who plays Cersei Lannister, started teasing fans with a reunion photo that featured her and Coster-Waldau, who plays her brother, Jaime Lannister, on the show.

The photo is an old selfie of the on-screen siblings, and Heady captioned it with, "Best bro. @nikolajwilliamcw #oldiebutgoodie."

Heady followed that up with a behind-the-scenes video of Coster-Waldau and co-star Pilou Asbaek, who plays Euron Greyjoy. The clip is from an earlier season, but it still transported fans back to Westeros for a brief moment.

Unfortunately, Time reports that Heady did not release any new footage from the set of Game of Thrones . Given the level of security this season, spoilers have been cut to a minimum, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Director David Nutter recently opened up about how difficult it was keeping the final season a secret. Nutter revealed that paparazzi went to great lengths to capture a spoiler on camera, including climbing construction cranes to get a better view.

"They were all over, everywhere, trying to get in on what was happening," Nutter shared.

To prevent any leaks, Nutter and his team did not allow any paper scripts on set. Everything was digital and encrypted so that only certain individuals had access. Nutter described the whole setup as being "like the Gestapo," which is why there have not been a lot of spoilers.

Naturally, Nutter did not dish on any spoilers for the upcoming season, so it is still a complete mystery which characters will come out on top.

Season 8 of Game of Thrones is scheduled to premiere in April of 2019.
