Game of Thrones just released a new teaser trailer for Season 8. The clip was released at the Sao Paulo Expo this week, an event that also featured a discussion with some of the cast and crew of HBO’s hit fantasy.
The trailer includes a look at the Painted Table inside Dragonstone. The map, which Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) used last season to draw up plans, is shown being covered by fire and ice.
Unfortunately, the teaser does not feature footage from the upcoming season, but it does hint that things are finally coming to a head between Daenerys and the Night King.

The trailer is not the only thing to come out of the Sao Paulo expo. According to Bleeding Cool, the convention also featured a panel with Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Dan Weiss and David Benioff.
Game of Thrones revealed some of the answers the panel gave on social media.
Executive producers Weiss and Benioff revealed that Arya Stark was the hardest character to cast while Robert Baratheon (Mark Addy) was the easiest. They also admitted that they found out how the series was going to end after completing Season 3.
Williams and Bradley, meanwhile, were asked which character they would marry on the show. Williams said that she would tie the knot with Sansa Stark while Bradley quickly said Gilly, who happens to be his on-screen lover.

Benioff ended the panel by revealing his favorite sword on the show is the Tarly sword.
The cast and crew did not spill anything new about the upcoming season, but fans can expect more promotional material as the show ramps up for its final premiere.
HBO has not announced an official premiere date for Season 8 of Game of Thrones, but the series is scheduled to return in April.
