The star brought a little bit of happiness in the lives of these hospital patients and staff members. Actress Gal Gadot, in the costume of her iconic Wonder Woman character, cheered up the young patients and the people working in the facility.
Cardiac surgeon Lucas Colazzo took to social media to share a group pic of Gal with hospital employees, captioning it: ‘Thank you @GalGadot for visiting us @InovaHealth Children’s Hospital. You are a true Wonder Woman. The kids loved it…and so did the staff.’
Inova Children’s Hospital’s Twitter account @InovaHealth also tweeted: ‘We are very honored #WonderWoman stopped by to visit the kids and caregivers at #InovaChildrensHospital! Thank you @GalGadot. #ForTheKids.’
In other pictures, the actress can be seen cradling a young girl who was being treated there in addition to meeting even more staff members.

This fantastic gesture comes just as Gadot and the crew are shooting the sequel to the hugely successful 2017 Wonder Woman film, titled Wonder Woman 1984, in the Washington, D.C., and Virginia area.
We have learned that one big addition to the sequel is Kristen Wiig!
The comedian and talented actress is set to get out of her comfort zone by playing the villain named Cheetah but also her secret identity – Barbara Minerva.
A bit more than a week ago, we were given a sneak peek at a couple of characters including Kristen Wiig’s.
Director Patty Jenkins released on Twitter a photo of Minerva uncomfortably looking around a natural history museum.
Jenkins also showed us a glimpse of Chris Pine’s character, Steve Trevor who is apparently somehow returning from the dead!
His pic shows Pine strolling around an ‘80s shopping center also looking quite uneasy.
Finally, we got a little sneak peek at the title character as Gadot posted pics of the character.
One particular photo shows a bank of TVs, every one of them playing something else quite significant from that decade.
We can only see Gadot’s reflection in the mysterious image.
