Gabrielle Union marked Veteran's Day on her social media account with the following post. She made sure to praise her grandfather and uncle, as you will see in the emotional message below.

'This is my grandfather and native Nebraskan, John Booker Glass, when he served in WWII. This is St Mark's Square in Italy. His unit was a mounted supply unit that supported different operations, first in the Philippines, then Libya, and last in Italy. The last pic is my grandpa and his brother, my Uncle Joe Glass. Today and every day, we honour our veterans!!' Gabrielle began her message.
