Gabrielle Union Breaks Down During Emotional Exchange With Oprah Winfrey In Video About Baby Kaavia Critics

Sitting down with Oprah Winfrey, Gabrielle Union got emotional and cried as she spoke about the amount of hate she received for some of the pictures she shared of herself bonding with her newborn baby girl, Kaavia James.
Dwyane Wade and the talented actress welcomed the adorable infant via surrogacy in early November.
In the photos announcing the birth, Gabrielle is having skin-to-skin contact with her baby while resting in a hospital bed with her husband.
Many bashed Gabrielle, and her husband defended her saying: “Everyone started talking about why she is acting like she just had a baby.”
Oprah asked the new mom to speak on how she felt after reading the harsh comments, overcome with tears she could not say a word.
Before turning to a surrogate, she had a number of IVF cycles with unsuccessful results, according to her memoir We’re Going to Need More Wine where she said: “For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant—I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.”
Real fans are showing her love, and she is sharing her journey to motherhood with those voices.
One of them said: “Beautiful mommy and baby girl she is so adorable blessings to you and Dwyane Wade and the Wade family as well as your family this year and the years coming.. sending love from Chicago.”
Another person stated: “Your journey to motherhood is simply amazing. That is one blessed baby because your love and desire to be a mother never died which means you will be an amazing mother. Bless you and your family.”
This follower wrote: “This is beautiful…I know you will continue to have so much fun with your baby…little girls grow up to be our best friend.”
Gabrielle recently penned a sweet message about the arrival of Kaavia. It read: “On this night we decided to embrace our faith that our lil miracle @kaaviajames would make it into our arms. We held onto each other in joy and peace and allowed ourselves to look forward to her arrival. @dwyanewade marked this moment with his 1st ever tattoo of her first name Kaavia James.”
Regardless of what critics say, this is a beautiful journey.
