Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade are now the proud parents of an adorable baby girl they welcomed via a surrogate! As fans are aware, the two stars have been married for four years.
The 46 year old actress took to social media to share three different pics of the couple with their daughter, captioning it: ‘A LOVELY DAY. We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the loveliest of all the lovely days. Welcome to the party sweet girl!’
Furthermore, the new mom also added some song lyrics, dedicated to her little one: ‘When I wake up in morning love and the sunlight hurts my eyes, and there’s something with out warning, love bears heavy on my mind. I look at you, and the world is alright with me. Just one look at you and I know it’s going to be a lovely day.’

? When I wake up in the mornin' love And the sunlight hurts my eyes And there's something without warning, love Bears heavy on my mind Then I look at you And the world's alright with me Just one look at you And I know its gonna be A lovely day A lovely day ? A LOVELY DAY ?????? We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days. Welcome to the party sweet girl! #onelastdance #skintoskin @dwyanewade ❤??
In the snaps, the new parents look over the moon, and it makes total sense considering that they’ve unsuccessfully been trying to start a family for years.
In fact, Union openly talked about her struggle with miscarriages while at a BlogHer conference in TK.
‘The reality is I actually have adenomyosis. Instead of diagnosing me, [doctors] were like, ‘Oh you have periods that last nine or 10 days and you’re bleeding through overnight pads, perhaps there’s something more there.’ Every doctor that I saw was like, ‘Let me put you on birth control.’ The pill can mask all sorts of things. It’s amazing at preventing pregnancy; not so great with addressing adenomyosis,’ the star shared.
Finally, Gabrielle and Dwyane decided that welcoming a baby via a surrogate was the best option and they are now finally parents! Congratulations!
