The sequel that we’ve been waiting all our lives for is finally finished — well, kind of. Kristen Bell stopped by “The Ellen Show” to confirm that she has already recorded “Frozen 2.”
The family-centered film that teaches kids that all you need is faith and courage is headed back to theaters November of 2019. Don’t worry, there will be more songs to sing-along to in your car while you pick the little ones up from school!
Kristen visited her good friend Ellen and spilled the beans on what’s to come.
As you already know, Disney is top secret with almost everything they do in order to keep spoilers down to a minimum.
Bell told the talk show host: “I can’t say too much Disney has people everywhere. I have recorded the movie. There will be edits before it’s finished. I know the songs, I know the story — it’s very good!”
That’s all she could say but die-hard “Frozen” fans know that the statement was more than enough to expect another amazing movie.
The first installment, that was released on Thanksgiving in 2013, made over $1.2 billion internationally.
The sequel already has rumors buzzed around what the plot will be like.
Will we finally get to see the sisters team up as compared to being separated in the original? Will we find out more about Kristoff?
One thing that was being pushed for is to make Elsa LGBT friendly by giving her a girlfriend.
Director Jennifer Lee told The Huffington Post: “Where we’re going with it, we have tons of conversations about it, and we’re really conscientious about these things. For me … Elsa’s every day telling me where she needs to go, and she’ll continue to tell us. I always write from character-out, and where Elsa is and what Elsa’s doing in her life, she’s telling me every day. We’ll see where we go.”
