Ryan Edwards is headed back to rehab. The former Teen Mom star is checking himself back into a treatment center after another failed battle with substance abuse. While Edwards is hopefully getting the help he needs, his stay in rehab means that he will miss the birth of his son with new wife, Mackenzie Standifer.
An inside source claims that Standifer is scheduled to give birth around Oct. 8. Standifer is planning to name her son, Jagger Ryan, but her husband will not be present for the big day. Edwards is currently enrolled in a rehab facility in Alabama and will not be released in time for the birth.

“I believe her mom and her aunt will be in the delivery room with her,” the insider dished.
According to Radar Online, Edwards has been in rehab for the past month. With Edwards away from the family, Standifer was forced to move back in with her parents.
Given the seriousness of his addiction, Standifer does not expect Edwards to leave rehab until February at the earliest. Not only will he miss the birth of his new son, but he will also miss the first few months of his life.
Standifer has not commented on the status of her husband. Edwards’ father, Larry, also refused to comment about his son. While it is great that Edwards is getting help, it is an absolute shame that he’ll miss out on the birth of his son.
This, of course, is not the first time Edwards has been shipped off the rehab. Shortly after tying the knot with Standifer in 2017, he checked himself into a facility for prescription drug abuse.
But according to Maci Bookout, Ryan Edwards’ favorite drug is heroin. In fact, he was charged with heroin possession in March of last year and finally admitted that he needed help.
