Former Teen Mom OG star Ryan Edwards has officially missed the birth of his first child with his wife Mackenzie Standifer. Jagger Ryan Edwards was welcomed into the world on Oct. 9, after Mackenzie’s planned induction the day before. Edwards missed the birth because he is still in rehab in Alabama, but his parents were there to witness the birth of his second son.
Ryan’s most recent troubles after his most recent arrest due to previous charges according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office booking report. They listed the previous charge as possession of a controlled substance, and it is rumored that the troubled reality star spent weeks behind bars before being released to try his hand at rehab once again.

The Red Bank, Tennessee police department wouldn’t give any more information about his arrest, but this isn’t the first time that Edwards has found himself in trouble with the law.
Back in March, police arrested the 30-year-old for a probation violation on his heroin charge. And, a few days later, his ex Maci Bookout, her husband Taylor McKinney, and their two children obtained a restraining order against him.
Teen Mom OG fans remember an episode last year where Edwards was driving to his wedding with Mackenzie Standifer while he was under the influence. Viewers witnessed Edwards slurring his words and nodding off while behind the wheel.
Not long after that incident, he checked himself into rehab at a Dallas-based facility to try and beat his $10,000-a-week drug habit.
The couple announced they were expecting their first child together just days before his March arrest and followed that up with allegations against MTV and an announcement that they would not be returning.
“We’re not returning to Teen Mom this season. The network told us they don’t want to show Ryan as a recovering addict. But they did want to enter a contract with our unborn baby and have the baby film with Ryan’s parents, so it would look like someone else is raising it,” said Standifer.
Edwards added that Bookout wouldn’t film unless he quit the show and entered rehab again. He also claimed that MTV was writing him out of the show and making it look like he and Standifer are abandoning their unborn baby, but that isn’t the case.
Neither Ryan Edwards or Mackenzie Standifer have commented on his recent brushes with the law nor his addiction. But, she has continued to post pictures of them looking happy on social media.
New episodes of Teen Mom OG air Monday nights on MTV.
