Former Real Housewives of New York City star Jill Zarin made an appearance with her new boyfriend Gary Brody at this week’s US Open in New York, along with her Pomeranian Bossi Zarin. The couple has been dating for a few months, and this is one of their first public outings together, following the death of Zarin’s husband, Bobby, who died in January after a long battle with cancer.
Earlier this summer, Zarin held her annual charity luncheon in the Hamptons to benefit thyroid cancer research and to honor her late husband.
“This year, we will honor my Bobby,” Zarin said before the event. “It’s so hard to do this without him, but it’s what he’d want me to do.”

Zarin’s recent public appearances come in the midst of rumors that she will be coming back to RHONY for season 11 to replace Carole Radziwill, who announced in July that she would be leaving the Bravo reality show.
According to Refinery29, on the same day of Radziwill’s announcement, Ramona Singer appeared on Watch What Happens Live and said that the network will cast someone who the girls of the cast already know, and she had already “brought some girls to Bravo’s attention.”
Then, in the RHONY episode that aired that same week, “There’s No Place Like Home,” the show seemed to be preparing fans for Zarin’s return, and it made many believe that they were dropping hints about it. In the first five minutes, Singer inviting Dorinda Medley, Luann de Lesseps, and Sonja Morgan to her home in Southampton, and the first thing Singer says to Medley is that her new rugs “are from Jill Zarin.” Then, the episode quickly turned into a Zarin commercial.
She left the show after season 4 in 2011, but since then she has become a Friend of the Housewives and appeared in a few episodes.
During season nine, Zarin made an appearance for a gossip-filled lunch with Medley, de Lesseps, and de Lesseps’ now-ex-husband, Tom D’Agostino. And, during the most recent season, she made a sad return for Bobby’s funeral, and cameras caught her and former bestie Bethenny Frankel reconciling before the service.
Jill Zarin’s possible season 11 storyline could follow her rekindled friendship with Frankel. But, at this point it is purely speculation, and Bravo has not made any announcements about next season’s cast.
New episodes of Real Housewives of New York City will return to Bravo in 2019.
