Heather Thomson was a part of the Real Housewives of New York for three seasons until calling it quits in 2015. A lot has changed since Thomson’s departure, and she has a few things to say about what really went down behind the scenes.
In a new interview, Thomson talked about how her partying ways got out of control in front of the cameras.
The former RHONY star confessed that she would sometimes wake up after a night of partying and realized that her behavior was too “erratic” to keep up.

“I’m no prude – I love a good party,” Thomson shared. “But this was scary stuff that was not enjoyable and was upsetting, quite frankly.”
While Thomson partied hard, her RHONY co-star Luann de Lesseps kept it together. Thomson revealed that she never witnessed de Lesseps – who has since gone to rehab twice – get out of control with her drinking.
According to All About The Real Housewives, Thomson called de Lesseps an “awesome” woman, but admitted that being on the series for so long was probably why her life fell apart.
Although it has been three years since Thomson was on the show, she stays in contact with most of the current cast members. The only exception is Sonja Morgan, whom Thomson believes is completely delusional.
As for RHONY star Bethenny Frankel, Thomson revealed that she receives texts from the Skinnygirl mogul from time to time, but she never initiates contact.
Thomson always answers Frankel’s texts, but does not consider her a close friend. In fact, Thomson admitted that she would never collaborate with Frankel in a business venture because they are not a good match.
Thomson ended the interview by talking about the possibility of her returning to the world of reality TV.
The former RHONY star said she is open to working on a new project, but Heather Thomson will never consider returning to Bravo’s hit reality franchise. She is, however, thankful for her time on the show and the doors it opened.
