Snapchat hasn’t been doing too good these days, especially after the ad that referred to Rihanna and Chris Brown’s famous violent scandal triggered a lot of controversies. It seems that Chrissy Teigen has also decided to leave the platform and she explained her reasons on Twitter. Check them out here.
Besides the controversial ad that we have mentioned above, the latest update of this really popular application seems to be one of the reasons for which Chrissy stopped using Snapchat.
‘I stopped using snap,’ she tweeted. ‘The update, the constant complaints of people not being able to find me, plus the Rihanna poll…no bueno.’

This announcement came two weeks after Rihanna called out the social media app for shaming victims of domestic violence.
‘Now SNAPCHAT I know you already know you ain’t my fav app out there! But I’m trying to figure out what the point was with this mess! I’d love to call it ignorance, but I know you ain’t that dumb!’ she wrote on Instagram Stories.
She continued writing that, ‘You spent money on animating something that would internationally bring shame to DV victims and made a joke out of it!!! This isn’t about my personal feelings, cause I don’t have much of them… but all the women, children and men that have been victims of DV in the past and especially the ones who haven’t made it out yet… you let us down! Shame on you. Throw the whole app-oligy away.’
Snapchat eventually issued an apology after the backlash. It seems that the advertiser has since been blocked from the platform. On the other hand, the mobile game developer hasn’t responded to the controversy.
