After her embarrassing performance of the national anthem, Fergie returned to the stage! Did she do better this time around?
As you may know already, the singer became the object of ridicule, and memes following her NBA All-Star Game performance of the national anthem on February 20!
Everybody there, including the players really struggled not to laugh out loud.
But it is safe to say that her first time hitting the stage after the embarrassing rendition of the national anthem was a success!
Fergie is a very confident woman and did not let herself be defeated by the backlash.
The singer took the stage during DJ Khaled’s set at LA’s Forum, and all of the people in attendance went crazy!
Check out a video that a fan tweeted from the concert in case you are still not convinced.

We hear that DJ Khaled welcomed his ‘sister’ from The Four and the two rocked the stage together soon after!
Fergie was filled with energy, and the fans loved every second of it.
It is great to see the star in her element again after her highly-criticized jazzy version of the national anthem.

Thankfully, she had people on her side during the scandal, and one of them was her ex-husband Josh Duhamel who recently defended her while on Ellen: ‘I think she’d probably admit that it wasn’t her best work, but the girl’s crazy talented. She really is. She is an amazing woman — an amazing human being, really. It is hard to see somebody you care about get beat up like that. That is the business, you know? You are in this business. You put yourself out there. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose.’
As for whether or not she would sing the national anthem again, the answer is a definite yes!
‘Now that a couple of days have passed she’s still bummed people are giving her so much hate for her performance, but that’s not going to stop her from doing the song again in the future. If a team asks her to do it, she’ll do it and actually looks forward to it happening because she considers the job an honor,’ an insider previously revealed.
