After being bashed left and right for her rendition of the national anthem that she performed at the NBA All-Star game, we hear that Fergie is ‘devastated.’ That being said, we have learned that her former husband, Josh Duhamel, tried to cheer her up by gifting her some beautiful flowers as well as being there for her.
One insider revealed that ‘Fergie’s management team went to her house yesterday because she was a mess! She was crying hysterically and thought that this was the end of her career. Of course, her friends and Josh told her she was just being dramatic, but the truth is no one really knows what the outcome will be. She’s just really sad and doesn’t want to even leave the house.’
In her situation, having her ex show up with flowers was definitely a bit comforting.
‘Josh coming to see her and bring her flowers really did mean a lot to her though!’
As fans know already, she was widely criticized for the way she sang The Star Spangled Banner at the sports event.
While the internet was mainly slamming her, celeb friends of the star did their best to defend the singer, calling her version creative.
As for the way she reacted to the backlash, we hear that while she’s totally depressed right now, she’s already thinking of how to make it up to her fans and then move on from the whole thing, becoming stronger and wiser.
‘Fergie’s talking about doing a massive outdoor free concert in the spring to make up for the disaster and try and keep her loyal fans.’
‘She knows people want her to get back together with the Black Eyed Peas and she’s also strongly considering doing another album with them. Fergie realizes she needs to retrain her voice and not take such huge risks anymore,’ our source explained.
