Last season on “Basketball Wives,” Evelyn Lozada was struggling for a good reason. She and her fiance at the time were going through an IVF process in order to conceive another child. This installment, the happy home has been broken up and Lozada is opening up on why she has decided to call it quits.
Carl Crawford and Evelyn Lozada were together for over half a decade and were engaged to be married. The 42-year-old mother was undergoing IVF treatments to add to their family when she found out some heartbreaking information.
Allegedly, Carl was cheating with other women. The two split up but there are nine frozen embryos made up of Evelyn’s eggs and Carl’s sperm. It’s up to the reality star to chose what to do with them.
It’s a hard decision knowing that she has gone through such a hard process to get where she has but knows there is no chance of getting back with Carl.
During last night’s episode, the doctor gives her an option to donate the embryos to someone who can’t get pregnant. Evelyn says that she has to think long and hard about such a serious action.
Meanwhile, rumors are circulating that Crawford’s infidelity wasn’t the only problem between the couple.
Sources close to the situation claim that Carl’s family didn’t like her either.
“They think she is a money grubber. When they heard Tami Roman say those cruel words about her going through the NBA, NFL, and now MLB, looking for a rich husband – they agreed! Evelyn was, of course, offended that they would think that and felt disrespected. The cheating was just confirmation that she should let the relationship go,” the insider claims.
Meanwhile, there is something that Carl gave her that she is adamant on keeping — the $1.5 million ring. Evelyn said in an interview that he could’ve had the diamond back if she was the one cheating.
