A judge threw the book at Angelina Jolie last week when he ordered her to make it possible for her children to spend more time with their father, Brad Pitt.
Jolie was told she might lose custody of her clan composed of Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12 and twins Knox and Vivienne, 9, if she does not comply.
Note that Maddox is not concerned in the new request — the judge stated in official documents that the teenager will be the one to decide when and if he wants to see his father.
The actress and humanitarian was also ordered to give Pitt the phone numbers of all the children to Pitt so he can talk to them when it pleases him.
A spokesperson for Jolie bashed the person who leaked the private details of the ongoing custody and divorce battle between the former power couple.
The rep stated: “From the start, Angelina has been focused only on [the kids’] health and needs, which is why it was so important that this last court hearing be conducted privately. It’s deplorable that someone, for their own selfish reasons, leaked selective portions of the confidential and sealed court record to create an inaccurate and unfair picture of what is really happening.”
A source told Hollywood Life that the decision has made Jolie emotional about missing out when her children are with their father.
The source claimed: “Angelina is emotional and concerned over Brad’s increase in custody, and the time he will be spending with their children this summer. It has been a rough year for all of them, so she is worried about what is best for them constantly. She has no more choice in the matter, so she feels a bit helpless, and a loss of control.”
Another person close to Jolie claimed that she is unhappy about the situation and added: “Brad’s in a far stronger position now he’s scored a greater share of custody, and she’s not handling it well at all. The stress is all-consuming, and she’s been skipping meals and losing a lot of sleep.”
The insider said she was not blindsided and went on to state: “She knew this day would come eventually, but she got so used to the way things were and hoped Brad would abide by her terms instead of pushing for a greater custody share so aggressively. Ultimately, Angie can’t deprive Brad of seeing the kids.”
It was previously reported that little Shiloh is the one missing her father the most.
