They may not be a couple anymore, but Ryan Gosling will always be one of Emma Stone’s favorite people to work with. During a Question and Answer period at the Telluride Film Festival on the 1st of September, the actress remarked, “I can’t even imagine what my life would be without Ryan.”
Stone said the actor was so special that it makes her feel emotional. According to the La La Land alum, he’s “collaborative and excited about the process,” and as a result, he taught her so much about being generous.
Emma, 29, has come a long way since her days as the lead in Easy A, in addition to a co-starring role in Zombieland. Fans remember some of her more prestigious parts, including Birdman, Crazy, Stupid, Love, La La Land, Battle Of The Sexes, and The Amazing Spider-Man.
When on the stage, she said, “I hope this isn’t a lifetime achievement award.” As you may have remembered, Emma and Gosling co-starred in the romantic comedy, Crazy, Stupid, Love, as well as La La Land. She also worked with him in Gangster Squad.
Meanwhile, Gosling just wrapped up his latest movie, First Man, a new biopic which features him walking on the moon for the very first time as Neil Armstrong.
As it was previously reported, Ryan took some heat for his role because the producers chose not to show the American flag on the moon following Armstrong’s landing.
The hosts of Fox And Friends took the actor to task, pointing out that he was Canadian, as well as a “global citizen” – insinuating he is loyal to no one – and calling him an “idiot.”
Ryan, in an interview, explained that he believed the moon landing was a collaborative effort on the part of other countries as well. It was an achievement of human beings, in general, rather than just the United States.
