The feud between the two rappers is far from over! It looks like Eminem brought it back when he dissed Machine Gun Kelly by saying that ‘so many f*cking rappers [are] better’ than he is!
Fans of the genre loved it when the two released diss tracks, showing off their bars and the specific artistic aggressiveness everyone loves about rap.
Fortunately for them, the entertaining beef is back after only a short period of silence.
But first, let’s start from the beginning!
It looks like the feud was triggered by MGK making some comments about Eminem’s teen daughter Hailie Jade back in 2012.
While talking to Sway Calloway, Em stated that ‘The sh*t is, just for the record, the thing that was going on that he was saying about my daughter, I didn’t even know about that until like, literally a year and a half later. It never hit my radar, and one day, you know, you go down the f-*king wormhole of YouTube or whatever, so I see ‘Machine Gun Kelly talks about Eminem’s daughter’ whatever. So, I’m like ‘what the f**k?’ I click on it … then he starts doing a press run basically about Hailie. I’m like ‘what the f**k? Yo, my man better chill.’’
Despite this, Eminem claims that it was not the reason why he attacked Machine Gun Kelly on his Kamikaze album.
The rapper explained that it’s ‘actually a lot more petty than that. The reason that I dissed him is that he got on – first what he said, ‘I’m the greatest rapper alive since my favorite rapper banned me from Shade 45,’ or whatever he said, right? Like I’m trying to hinder his career. I don’t give a f*ck about your career. You think I actually f*cking think about you? You know how many f*cking rappers are better than you? You’re not even in the f*cking conversation.’
