Eddie Vedder's Wife Joins The Ranks Of Celebs Protesting Melania Trump For Her "Don't Care"- Jacket
Everyone on the red carpet lately, but mostly women, is slamming Melania Trump for her green jacket with the words donned on the back, "I don't really care, do you?"
It was a poor choice of fashion, considering she was visiting Texas to speak with migrant children amid the separation-crisis at the US-Mexico border following the ripping of 2,175 children from their parents by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency.
The wife of Eddie Vedder, Jill, was one of the women to slam Melania for her fashion-faux-pas, as she had a jacket made from an Italian brand, Redemption, which read, "Yes, we all care. Why don't you?"
Jill showed off the jacket at Pearl Jam's concert in Milan on Friday night. The band also shared a picture of her in the outfit on Instagram. In a statement to USA Today, the fashion label said they support Jill's response to Melania.
As it was previously reported, Melania Trump and Donald have been taking serious heat from the American public - as well as citizens around the world - for the policy supposedly implemented by Trump which has led to the separation of illegal immigrant children from their parents.
Melania - who has frequently been criticized by mainstream media pundits, including the likes of Samantha Bee and Kathy Griffin - wore the jacket and didn't really think about it as if it were a statement.
Earlier, in relation to the coat, Kathy Griffin called Melania Trump a "feckless and complicit piece of s*it," clearly a reference to the time Samantha Bee called Ivanka Trump a "feckless c*nt."
Her representative, Stephanie Grisham, said that her jacket wasn't making a statement on anything. It was just a jacket that she bought from Zara.
However, whether or not Melania chose the jacket intentionally, it was poorly thought out, considering the circumstances in the middle of the current American political climate.
