Dylan Farrow is continuing to stand by her original claim that Woody Allen sexually abused her as a child. In an interview on CBS’ This Morning, Dylan stated that she would never lie about such a thing.
When speaking with Gayle King, she said she is “credible,” and is “telling the truth,” and it’s important for people to realize that one accuser matters and one person should be enough to “change things.”
In 1992, Farrow accused Woody of assaulting her when she was just seven-years-old. In 2014, she wrote an open letter to The New York Times accusing him of the crime once again.
In response to her claims, Woody denied all of the allegations and said he “of course, did not molest Dylan.” He responded to the accusations in a letter to The Times as well and said he hopes that one day she will reconcile the fact that she couldn’t have a loving father.
Woody stated that Dylan’s mother convinced her that Woody molested her when in reality, it was merely a plot of revenge against him, an act of hatred.
Allen said that the “psychological toll” of being taught to hate your father as well think that he molested you is devastating.
Reportedly, the police investigated the accusations, but Woody was never hit with charges, an aspect of the case which is criticized ever since by people in the Hollywood scene.
Woody’s alleged pedophiliac tendencies have become a Hollywood joke, an example of corruption and the way people get away with alleged crimes when they’re influential or have power.
Farrow said she has never “wavered” in describing the things that he allegedly did to her and has to live with those experiences from now on.
As you may know, Woody had children with the legendary actress, Mia Farrow. However, their romance ended after 12 years following claims that Mia made to her pediatrician.
