It looks like Dwayne Johnson won’t be the president of the United States of America. During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, along with Kevin Hart and Jack Black, the actor opened up about why he won’t run for public office.
The host brought up the political speculation Hart said, “It’s just a rumor” while telling the audience not to get too excited at the possibility. Johnson said he would never run for the Presidency because he’s worried that Hart would “sabotage” his campaign.
Dwayne said the idea of him taking the role as the President is “very flattering” but he wouldn’t be able to do so because “the problem is this guy to my right will completely sabotage the campaign.”
Hart said he agreed “100%” because he wouldn’t want Dwayne to be that much better than him.
Additionally, Jessica Chastain and Rebel Wilson made an appearance on the show and shared their two cents on what it would be like to have The Rock as the leader of the executive branch.
And while the thought of having Dwayne Johnson as the president of the USA is a cute idea, it’s probably best to avoid having another Hollywood entertainer in the public office. Especially, as the president.
Donald Trump is enough. If Dwayne wants to run for office, he should try and be a congressman. Either way, many would argue that having the Fate of The Furious Star would be better than Trump, who is formerly the host of The Apprentice.
