Dustin Hoffman is dealing with more accusations of sexual misconduct following a new report published in The Hollywood Reporter. In the magazine, Kathryn Rossetter wrote that there were two altercations between the couple when they starred in the Broadway revival of Death Of A Salesman.
During the production of the play, Hoffman portrayed the main character, Willy Loman, while she played his mistress.
According to Rossetter, Dustin put his hand on the inside of her thigh one day when the pair “waited in the wings,” and he became “increasingly aggressive” as the days went by.
She claimed, “one night he actually started to stick his fingers inside of me.” Additionally, he would “grab her breasts” whenever they had to take photos together.
Rossetter also stated that he “exposed her breasts and body” to the cast and crew while she was backstage. The actor allegedly requested for the other workers to come back for a “surprise.”
After she finally had enough, Rossetter revealed that she finally confronted him one day and screamed at him, “f*ck you,” and asked him how he would like it if she did the same thing to you. In response, Hoffman supposedly left her alone for a couple of days.
But after three days, “It was back to groping again.” The actress said she wanted to report his actions but feared repercussions considering his star power.
In her essay, Rossetter said Hoffman “grabbed her breasts” and she “grabbed his crotch” in response, for a “taste of his own medicine.” The supposed encounter took place during a photo shoot for Playboy.
Three months later, Playboy published the image, and it supposedly showed her grabbing his crotch. Despite her accusations, several people on the set of Death Of A Salesman claimed they didn’t see any of the alleged altercations which Kathryn described.
