Donald Trump shot back at the rapper, Jay-Z, after Jay criticized him during an interview on CNN’s Van Jones Show. The 71-year-old took to Twitter on Sunday to remind the rapper that since he has been elected, and because of his policies, black unemployment rates are currently at the “lowest rate ever.”
During Jay’s appearance on the show on the 27th of January, the rapper didn’t hold back on his opinion of the new president. When speaking with Van Jones, the rapper said just because black unemployment rates are down, it doesn’t mean Trump is a good leader.
Somebody please inform Jay-Z that because of my policies, Black Unemployment has just been reported to be at the LOWEST RATE EVER RECORDED!

The rapper said “money doesn’t equal happiness” and that he may put money in their pockets, but it doesn’t necessarily make him a good president.
Despite the widespread condemnation of the president, many people on social media thought that the rapper’s comments were out of touch with regular people, considering the lack of money is what most lower class people are concerned with.
Perhaps, for a multi-millionaire such as Jay-Z, money is no big deal, but for millions of Americans; it’s a huge deal. Furthermore, Jay also said, “it’s not about money at the end of the day,” and the president is “missing the whole point.”
Additionally, the 4:44 rapper commented on Trump’s recent comments that Haiti and African countries are “sh*tholes.”
Jay said that it doesn’t fare well for the president; it’s just not a good look for America who are supposed to be setting the example for how a nation should conduct itself.
In case you missed it, during a meeting at the White House on the 11th of January, Donald allegedly referred to Haiti and African nations as “sh*tholes” sparking widespread condemnation from public figures and the public alike.
