Just one day after Ashley Jacobs posted a teary video on Instagram announcing that she and Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel had split, cameras caught her out on a date with another man. Does this mean she was with Ravenel because of his money and reality TV fame?
According to All About The Tea, in an Instagram live video, Jacobs wept while sharing her heartbreak over her failed romance with Ravenel. She answered questions from fans and explained that she was crying because she was vulnerable.

“I made a lot of mistakes, and there are things that I shouldn’t have said. I just should have kept my mouth shut, it was not my place. I think the hardest thing is going to bed every night and thinking how different things would be in my life if I would have just shut my mouth,” said Jacobs.
She went on to say that she wishes she could change things because things would be different. But, she hopes she can look back on this in twenty or thirty years and laugh about being on reality TV. She finished up by saying that going to church and praying helps her get through each night and day. And, she believes God has a plan for her, and she trusts in that plan.
Then, the next day she was canoodling with a mystery man in a Charleston lounge. Jacobs was grabbing the man’s butt while he had his arm wrapped around her waist. She was wearing the same dress that she had on earlier in the day when she posted an Instagram story.
Last summer, Jacobs moved from California to South Carolina to be with Ravenel after just a few weeks of dating, and she ended up causing quite a bit of drama on Southern Charm. But at first, when she met everyone and was trying to make her way into a close group of friends, there was one Charmer that really made her starstruck.
During the Southern Charm aftershow, Jacobs revealed that she was a fangirl of Cameran Eubanks because of her wit, sense of humor, and her ability to keep it real. However, when it came to getting to know Kathryn Dennis, Ravenel’s baby momma, things didn’t go nearly as well.

But, Jacobs claims that getting to know people is usually something she enjoys, and she often gets to do that in her job as a registered nurse. She explained that she works through an agency in Charleston, and she goes to people’s homes and cares for their loved ones. A lot of her patients are terminal or have disabilities, and she helps relieve the families of their duties.
Ashley Jacobs says it is great going into people’s homes and helping families. And, even though she works for them, it has been great because she doesn’t have her family in Charleston, and a lot of her patients have become her family.
New episodes of Southern Charm will return in 2019.
