Did 'RHOA' Alum Kenya Moore Use A Surrogate For Baby Brooklyn? A Doctor Speaks!

Did 'RHOA' Alum Kenya Moore Use A Surrogate For Baby Brooklyn? A Doctor Speaks!
Source: Bravo

From the very beginning, viewers and co-stars alike were not sure if "Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum Kenya Moore was telling the truth about her pregnancy announced during the season ten reunion of the Bravo show. Even now that Brooklyn Doris Daly has made her grand entrance -- the jury is still out!

Between the perfect timing of the alleged child-bearing to the actions taken after, Kenya has had fans disputing over whether or not she used a surrogate adopted, or actually gave birth to the bundle of joy.

Blogger Tamara Tattles points out a few factors that would definitely make anyone think twice about Moore's situation.

"The rectangular bump? She gained 50 plus pounds and posted on the scales hitting 200 pounds, but that is gone now. The three hour C-section? The whole 'it will take me weeks to walk' and then being at a John Legend concert and going to Target a few days after giving birth? None of this makes any sense. At all."

Many agree that this would be the most impossible scandal in reality history to pull off and that's why they claim that there's no way Moore could do such a thing. However, there are some who are doubtful that the 47-year-old was the carrier of her new baby girl.

An OB/GYN has finally chimed in to give a medical opinion on whether they think the "RHOA" alum was lying or not.

"In my professional opinion, Kenya did give birth to her daughter. One tell-tale sign was her swollen feet that is common with those suffering from pre-eclampsia. I can see why people think that she couldn't have gotten back to her original weight so quickly, but if you look at the photo she posted you can see that her stomach area is darker than it was before pregnancy. Also, if Kenya was a fitness fanatic before having to slow down, it's very likely that her muscle memory came into effect as soon as the swelling from her c-section went down."

There you have it. What do you think is the truth?

I totally agree with everyone who thinks she’s lying! You know why? Cause that what she does! That lady wanted a child and a husband more than any woman on earth so when she finally get the two now she don’t want to show them off... Every thing she does is calculated! Did we ever actually see her getting a sonogram? Was it a full body pic of her with the swollen feet? I mean come on people this woman has some serious mental issues! And I know she would go through major lengths to secure her lies! Who really thinks about a concert two weeks after giving birth?! And the dark abdominal area is no dead give away, she is a dark complexion woman and I’m sure there’s some even darker tone makeup on the market! Not watch how Porsha Williams show us everything about her pregnancy journey just like Kandy did!

Lala I agree with you 100%. Kenya Moore is among many things a total narcissist. I find it impossible to believe she would not be showing off herself and her baby every chance she could. Instead she posts an enigmatic Instagram shot of her holding a baby, a doll, who can tell? I don't know what her "end game" could be, maybe she's just crazy?

Women are different and each ones " snapback" would be different but if she had a c section where is the scar I had 3 kids all naturally last one 10lbs and I was active thru out all. I WAS TIRED & SORE definitely would not want to be at no damn concert that soon. Why are people so obsessed with a snapback why is this sooo important. It's like yeah yeah I had a baby but dis body tho! wth smh

I'm no hater. The young girls still have a pouch for at least a few months...so I don't believe her. Now if she's lying she has to give in account for it and the length of the lie. If her husband is in on it then the 2 are made for one another. As a man...how will he go to GOD for help when he lied under GOD'S HOLY THRONE. I'm going to give them something to think about.

The reason why Kenya is photoshopping her stomach very dark is because she purchased a fake stomach and the skin tone was too dark so she is now just going with it. But when she shows her stomach in the future, you will see that it won't be charcoal black as it looks now.

    1. Who really cares if she had a surrogate or not but 2 I think she was pregnant. As a mother or 5 and being a tiny size my whole life I know for a fact that your stomach stays darker after you give birth for a while..... Kenya stomach is darker than her body. Not everyone has baby fat after having a baby my stomach was flat in 3 days time with all 5 of my kids.

I have said all along, Kenya ain't given birth to no baby by c section or any other kinda section. A surrogates c section but not hers. I've been pregnant enough and seen pregnant women enough to know when a person's really pregnant. Even if I dont know U well. I could see it in something. In some of her pictures the position of her belly bump changes especially the one with her and Cynthia at some event. Some photos he belly is high and some photos it low. I also do believe Beyonce ever had a baby. She also bounced back perfect and in a little amount of time even with twins. I only gained 16 pounds and didn't bounce back like they did at age 25. I hope one day these surrogate mothers will expose the truth about their pregnancies.

Yes there IS such a thing as muscle memory! If you look at some pictures of Kenya in the earlier months she was in athletic gear (like in the picture) and definitely had a pregnant belly. Women who weight trained or extreme exercise for many years do snap back very fast. I am not a Kenya fan really but I do believe she carried that baby herself! Older women than Kenya have carried pregnancies to term from invitrofertilization. Congratulations Kenya on your beautiful baby girl.

Even before any blogs started posting about her using a surrogate, I was saying that she was using one. If that's what she did, it's fine, but why lie. I believe there are too many inconsistencies in her comments regarding the pregnancy and birth, and I had those complications and didn't gain half the weight she said she did. The swelling doesn't go down immediately at birth with preeclampsia. You remain extremely swollen with fluid for approximately two weeks before you start urinating excessively to rid your body of all the fluid. I couldn't wear shoes as my feet were too swollen for 2 weeks after the birth. You also don't feel to go out shopping, restaurants, any events..you don't feel well enough nor can you wear clothes and shoes until the swelling is gone. She wants people to believe she gave birth, but I don't believe it. The important thing is she has a healthy daughter and she shouldn't be embarrassed by using a surrogate.

That was your experience, not every pregnancy, delivery, C-section, and recovery is the same. People should stop judging other peoples experience based on theirs. Kenya's physique was in excellent condition. Her abs were phenomenal. Some C-section patients loose the water weight and swelling immediately. I would suggest to you to listen to other peoples experiences who have suffered through preeclampsia or better yet google it. It's truly sad that people hate on this woman so with all of these conspiracy theories. Please just let her live her life and stop all the disgusting hate and innuendos.

This story line is messy as hell. As a mother who gave birth twice to preemies due to preeclampsia your facts are totally way off. After I gave birth the weight came off super fast because I was retaining a lot of water. Believe me your whole body swells up. I truly find this post disgusting when everyone knows you don’t need to add stress to a new mom.

I believe it. I too was a fitness junkie, had the same swelling issue. Gained 45 pounds first pregnancy and snapped back into my size 3's the following week. If you're in shape to begin with and stay in shape during the pregnancy, your body will respond like hers, no doubt! Good for her!

Tamara Tattales is spouting conspiracy theories because she needs clicks for her blog. Kenya's Board Certified OBGyn was at her baby shower. They took pictures together. Kenya has given the names of all of her doctors. There is no way in hell that they would jeopardize their career for such a lie. Her aunt Lori, Cynthia, Kandi and a host of other people are and have been close to Kenya to know that her pregnancy was authentic. What is the purpose of trying to maligned Kenya? She's trying to live her best life possible. There millions of women who have C-section's and experience the same snap back that Kenya is experiencing. The 3 hour C-section sounds exactly right with eclampsia and having fibroids and excessive bleeding. The baby was only 5lbs/12oz. Kenya had excessive water retention and blood loss. Kenya loss all that weight after the birth. Since Kenya was extremely physically fit with tight abs prior to her pregnancy, her skin basically went back to it's original size. (That's called memory positioning). A lot of pregnant women also experience darkening of the neck and stomach, which will disappear a few months after childbirth. If you notice Kenya's abdomen is very dark. Kenya has very good work ethics, so she is not the type of person to stay in bed and do nothing. She will push herself to the limit. Oh and by the way she admitted that her doctor gave her the stomach supporter to use. I'm sure that has helped with her fast recovery. My daughter in law used it, which was amazing to see her snap back. Please stop the non sense and the hate toward this lovely woman.
