Denise Richards is going to bring the drama during her first season on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. According to a new report, Richards just got engaged and then quickly married to her boyfriend, Aaron Phypers all with cameras rolling.
His divorce from former Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan just became final, but they had been separated for two years and were only married for six months. Right after the engagement Richards and Phypers insiders revealed they want to tie the knot sooner rather than later.
“The engagement has been a long time coming. He moved on from his past relationship a long time ago, and marrying Denise is a welcome new chapter for both of them in different but equally significant ways,” an insider told People Magazine.
The source went on to say that Richards and Phypers are “very happy,” and they have already settled into their new life together. When he proposed they were already planning the wedding.
The couple reportedly had a small, low-key wedding on the beach, with just their inner circle in attendance. They have both been married before, and this time they wanted to exchange vows in front of the most important people in their lives. The even rode off from their ceremony with Richards on the back of Phypers motorcycle.
Richards was married to Charlie Sheen for four years before they divorced in 2006. They have two daughters together — Sam, 14, and Lola Rose, 13. She also has a daughter named Eloise from another relationship.
Richards and Phypers started dating in December 2017, and an insider close to the couple says that the engagement and wedding did not come as a surprise. The happy news comes just weeks after the announcement that the Wild Things actress had joined the RHOBH cast. Now, she will start her first season on the show with a ring on her finger.
We don’t know yet if Phypers will appear on the reality show along with his fiancée, outside of the filming of their wedding, but Sheen has said that it is possible fans could get a cameo from him when he is dropping off his kids at Richards’ house.
“I’m sure if they’re rolling and I pull up to drop off one of the girls, then I’ll be on it,” said Sheen.

He also said that he does support his ex-wife being on the Bravo reality show. He says he doesn’t watch it, but he knows that it is popular, and it will be good for. Sheen added that he is sure Richards’ experience will “be a ball.”
With all of these big moves, Richards is taking the spotlight away from Lisa Vanderpump and Erika Jayne who are both reportedly not huge fans of Richards already.
Season 9 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with Denise Richards, Vanderpump, Jayne, Lisa Rinna, Kyle Richards, Teddi Mellencamp, and Dorit Kemsley will premiere on Bravo later this year.
