Demi Lovato was all smiles with her boyfriend Henry Levy this week — a huge change from earlier this year when the pop star suffered a drug overdose that nearly took her life. While Lovato looked happier than ever, her family is reportedly worried about her new romance.
An inside source says that Lovato’s mom does not think Levy is a good influence on her and might push her back to her old ways.
“Demi’s mother Dianna is scared, and believes Henry is no good for her right now,” a source shared.

There may be some truth behind the concerns. The source told Radar Online that Lovato has not been keeping up with her recovery and is dangerously close to returning to her old lifestyle.
Lovato’s family is afraid that she does not understand the nature of her addiction. They also fear that Levy will eventually make her relapse.
Levy has a history of substance abuse and has been in rehab a number of times in the past ten years. He is also involved in a heated lawsuit with a former employee, who claims he failed to pay for work completed and used drugs at work.
A source previously claimed that Lovato’s family had convinced her that Levy is not good for her. Unfortunately, it looks like Lovato ignored their advice and is staying with her man.
That said, other sources say that Levy has been a good influence on Lovato. In fact, one insider revealed that Levy has been a huge support for the pop star and is doing his best to keep her sober.
The source added that Lovato and Levy share a “deep connection” in their shared experience with addiction. She also feels like she can be herself around him.
Demi Lovato has not commented on her budding romance with Levy, but the pair do look like they are in a happy relationship. Here’s to hoping that doesn’t change anytime soon.
