Demi Lovato Pays Tribute To Her Fans After The Release Of The Deeply Personal Song ‘Sober’

Today, the singer took to her social media platform of choice, Instagram, to show her deep appreciation towards her supportive and loving fans. This message comes just days after she released the song titled Sober, that talks about relapsing.
Demi Lovato celebrated no less than six years of being sober back in March, but it looks like mere months later, she lost control for a bit.
As you probably know, the star has always been open about her struggle with alcohol and drug addictions as well as with her eating disorders, bipolar disorder and self-harming.
Back in 2010, when she was just 18, she went to rehab.
Today, she shared a clip of her on stage, captioning it: ‘To my fans, my family, and my supporters, the ones who never left me, you are my light. I am forever grateful.’
Demi is now on her Tell Me You Love Me world tour.
This weekend, she had a show in Lisbon, Portugal where she also performed her new track Sober.
That very day, on Sunday, she shared a video of her performance, writing: ‘Tonight I took the stage, a new person with a new life. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. It will never be forgotten ❤.’
Demi Lovato has always tried her best to be a great role model for her many fans despite the problems she faced, which is also why she chose to at least bring awareness to them by speaking up.
After relapsing, however, she felt like she had disappointed all of those who loved and looked up to her, something that the lyrics of Sober reflect.
