Before Demi Lovato’s relapse, she used to be a fitness fanatic. She was highly trained in intense activities such as Mixed Martial Arts for instance.
Now that she’s clean after spending three months in rehab, she is reportedly returning to her workout routine to keep both her body and mind healthy.
A source close to the singer discussed the subject with Hollywood Life and said the following:
‘Demi has been working out like crazy, hitting the gym, sweating with a personal trainer and even doing two-a-day workouts. She is dedicated to her health, fitness, and sobriety right now.’
‘She is making room for new, healthier, more loving relationships that support her new dedication to her well-being. Demi has been cleaning house and getting rid of all of her negative influences and unhealthy relationships in her life,’ the insider added.
Hollywood Life’s source continued and added that ‘Demi was in a really dark, sad place before ending up in the hospital fighting for her life.’
Now that she managed to get better and get away from that dark place she will reportedly make sure to never get there ever again.
Before she overdosed earlier this year she was sober for six years. She didn’t touch any alcohol and drugs.
She spent a week in the hospital before going to rehab for 90 days.
