Demi Lovato has confirmed her split from Austin Wilson after they went Instagram official just one month ago. The 27-year-old singer broke the news when she replied to a fan on Instagram, and both Lovato and Wilson have deleted their pics of each other on their respective social media accounts.

Lovato told her Instagram fan: “Please don’t go after him. He’s a good guy. Much better than what people see on the outside just because he’s got a lot of tattoos. Breakups are hard for both parties involved. Just stay nice and say prayers.”

The Sorry Not Sorry singer went Instagram official with the 25-year-old model in early November by posting a black-and-white pic of herself with Wilson that featured him giving her a kiss on the cheek. In the caption she wrote, “My heart.”

Wilson shared his own photo of the two on his Instagram page, and he wrote in the caption, “My love.”

When Lovato and Wilson went public with their relationship, an insider told Us Weekly that the duo connected through their sobriety and they were “really happy together.” The source added that Lovato’s friends approved of the relationship, and they were both great influences on each other.

“Austin and Demi are both sober and it’s easy for them to connect and understand each other, “ said the source.

Just last weekend, Lovato and Wilson enjoyed an evening at Disneyland, and they were seen standing in line and holding hands at the Matterhorn and Space Mountain.

Before her relationship with Wilson, Lovato briefly dated Bachelorette alum Mike Johnson. Sources say they went on a couple of dates and were texting each other every day, but the timing just wasn’t right for them because they were both so busy.

Johnson refused to dish on their brief romance, but he did say that Lovato is an amazing, beautiful individual both inside and out. Lovato has also dated Wilmer Valderrama and Joe Jonas.

Earlier this month, Demi Lovato posted on Instagram without a picture. Instead, it was just a black square, and she wrote in the caption that the next time her fans hear from her, she’ll be singing.
