Demi Lovato Clarifies That She Was Not Bashing Dani Vitale: Here Is The 'Friend' Who Did An Interview About Her
Demi Lovato is out of rehab and enjoying life again. After a fan account took to Instagram to criticize her team, it left some believing that the pop star was referencing backup dancer Dani Vitale.
An Instagram account dedicated to Demi took a screenshot of a tweet that claimed Dani was being unfairly treated and that Lovato was surrounded by a team of people who only want her money.
The former Disney Channel star commented with: "You have no idea what you're talking about. True Friends don't do interviews about you after you OD."
Since Vitale was one of the people accused of having a hand in the 26-year-old's overdose , she took to her social media in July to clear her name. It was assumed that Lovato was slamming Dani, but she later added: "I'm not talking about Dani Vitale."
It turns out that Demi wasn't talking about Vitale but may have been speaking about her former trainer, Danielle Martin.
The fitness model spoke to Radar Online about being fired from Demi's team.
"I lost my job for speaking up for her, to be honest. Pretty sad. I did nothing but empower her. Nothing bad to say. The people around her I’m sure were happy to run to her. They told her I was taking the situation and making it all about me. I’d never do that. Not ever. I was standing up for her. That’s all."
Martin claimed that she was let go by Demi's team for giving the star sage advice about keeping people around who aren't good for her.
She also added that although she misses her friend, she won't beg for her back.
"I miss her. I care deeply for her, but I won’t beg for any of that. Decency and respect. I deserve that. Not a text disposing of everything we built. It’s very sad."
Do you think that Danielle Martin is the 'Dani?' Whta do you think is going on with the singer's team?
