Kenya Moore will not be part of the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast for season 11 since producers reportedly fired her, but the former Miss USA is telling friends that she will possibly be getting her own spin-off, just like Kim Zolciak. Will Moore be coming back to television even though she has been keeping her marriage away from the cameras?
Radar Online is reporting that Moore has some big plans and is getting multiple offers, including a “pregnancy special and possibly getting her own show afterward.”
Producers have already started shooting the upcoming season of RHOA, and they followed NeNe Leakes, Porsha Williams, Marlo Hampton, Cynthia Bailey and Eva Marcille to Miami for Leakes’ birthday and her latest store opening, but Moore was not there.
The rumors of Moore’s firing started when she apparently missed a mandatory cast meeting back in May. The 47-year-old continues to deny that Bravo gave her the pink slip and then replaced her with Hampton, but the reports continue to come out that Moore will not be on RHOA this season.
“Kenya loves hearing all the rumors about her swirling around because they’re proving her point that she’s the true star!” says an insider.
But is her “star power” strong enough for her to get her own show? She didn’t let Bravo cameras come to her secret wedding last summer. And since then, her husband hasn’t appeared on RHOA, so the question is – what would her spin-off be about?
It wouldn’t make much sense for Moore to get her own show since the main reason she lost her spot on RHOA was not sharing enough of her life on camera.
But, according to Moore’s social media posts, producers haven’t fired her, and she is telling fans that they will get the chance to witness her become a mother. She wrote on Instagram that it is “fake news” that producers wanted to demote her, and she is the housewife who gets the biggest ratings.
She also wrote that fans will see her “raw truth” one way or another, and it is a “fact” that she is good television.
As for RHOA, an insider says they are looking forward to bringing new housewives onto the show next season and telling authentic stories. And, it looks like in addition to Kenya Moore, producers have also given Sheree Whitfield the boot. They have also not asked Zolciak back, who appeared last year as a “friend” of the show.
New episodes of Real Housewives of Atlanta will return to Bravo later this year.
