Debra Messing 'Dismayed' By Megyn Kelly's 'Gay' Remark During 'Will And Grace' Interview: 'Regret Going On'
Many people were not at all happy with Megyn Kelly’s Will and Grace cast interview, and one of them is Debra Messing. After she and her co-stars stopped by Megyn’s new NBC talk show to promote the revival of the TV show, the actress took to social media to express her ‘dismay’ over one very controversial comment Kelly made during the interview.
‘Honestly, I did not know it was [Megyn Kelly] until that morning. The itinerary just said Today Show appearance. Regret going on. Dismayed by her comments,’ Messing posted.
Kelly asked a fan that was invited to meet the cast of Will and Grace today if he turned gay because of Will.
The fan chose to reply positively to the question, but despite his calm response to the very awkward question, many social media users did not hold back and expressed their opinion on the offensive remark.
Others that were more on Kelly’s side commented that her slip of the tongue might have been a teachable moment for her.
And sure enough, she spent a bit of her segment asking the cast about Joe Biden's comments on how important Will and Grace was for advancing LGBTQ rights.
Megyn Kelly is yet to address her controversial question officially.
