David Eason and Jenelle Evans are finally ready to face the music and come forward about what really happened the day that the family dog ended up dead. Jenelle was by her man's side when he confessed how and why he decided to put the pet down.

The small pup allegedly nipped at the couple's toddler daughter. Apparently, it was far from the first time that it happened.

David explained to People: 'It was a situation where my daughter, her health, her safety was in danger. This was something that nobody wants to ever have to do. The dog was aggressive. Yes, she might not be huge or whatever, but you know when a dog bites a child on the face more than one time, then it should never be around the child again.'

He went on to explain why he didn't want to give the dog up for adoption.

'If you give the dog up for adoption, one day it’s going to be around children again. If you call the authorities at that point, the law says the dog has to be euthanized. I’m not going to pay anyone to euthanize my dog when I could do it myself.'

Regardless of what others think, David said that he feels bad about what occurred, While holding back tears, he confesses that he thinks about it every day.

The shooting led to a chain of events that no one could have predicted. Jenelle and David lost custody of their kids and had to go to court for weeks just to get them back.

David's baby's mother from a previous relationship is using the public scrutiny in her ongoing custody battle .

Evans' motive for the confession seems to be that she is trying to clean up their image in order to push her new products after being given the boot from her MTV cash cow, Teen Mom.
