Dave Bautista Disses Vin Diesel’s ‘Fast & Furious’ Legacy By Saying That He'd Rather Star In 'Good Films'
The Avengers: Endgame star took to social media to diss the Fast and the Furious franchise in response to some tweets from fans. While Vin Diesel’s movies are generally beloved and have a cult following, Dave Bautista is clearly not a fan judging by what he had to say!
It all started with one follower suggesting that he should take on a villain role in a spin-off of the franchise starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and John Cena.
‘@TheRock and @JohnCena will get a Fast and Furious spin-off also and @DaveBautista will Be the villain,’ the tweet read.
Soon after, Bautista had a response and it looks like it’s going to be a 'pass' from him.
‘…….thank you for your consideration… #idratherdogoodfilms,’ he tweeted back, but not before also adding a sick emoji and a vomiting one.
Yikes! Tell us how you really feel!
But that was not even all! Seeing his response to the first fan’s suggestion, another follower just had to disagree, prompting the actor to once again, tweet back.
‘I love Bautista but the Fast franchise has some of the best and most creative action pieces in recent memory, easily among the most enjoyable movies of the past decade.’
He wrote: ‘I normally wouldn’t even engage but I think the fact that ‘I Barf On Babies’ is your twitter handle really says it all. … but thanks for the love dude. I really appreciate you keeping it positive and I totally respect your opinion.’
He really went out of his way to make his dislike of the franchise clear!
While he never explains why he hates the Fast and Furious movies so much, to each their own, right?
