They grew up together but did they keep in touch after the beloved series came to an end? Daniel Radcliffe shared the status of his friendship with longtime Harry Potter co-stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint during a new interview.
It has nearly close to 19 years since Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone came out and the 9 year anniversary of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is approaching!
With that being said, it’s been a long time since the now-30 year old actor started this journey and nearly a decade since it came to an end so does is the Golden trio still friends in real life years after their work on Harry Potter wrapped up?
While on the Today Show Australia, Radcliffe answered that question which also included Tom Felton!
‘Absolutely!’ he enthusiastically replied, much to the joy of diehard fans.
That’s not to say that everything is the same today. Some things have undeniably changed: ‘Look, we’re not as close as we once were.’
He went on to dish that recently, he has been texting both Tom and Rupert a lot, because of the latter’s baby.
Indeed, Grint and his girlfriend Georgia Groome just became parents to their first baby on May 7.
‘I mean that’s still wild to me that we’re now at the stage where we’re having kids and I am sure that’s a fact that makes the rest of the world feel really old. [I am] genuinely just so happy for him and Georgia. He’s going to be an awesome dad,’ Daniel said.
It definitely seems unbelievable that the actors are at that stage in life already and so are most of the Harry Potter fandom who have grown up with the books and movies.
However, at this point in time, Daniel and Emma are not yet parents.
Daniel has been in a serious relationship with actress Erin Darke since 2012 while Emma is rumored to be dating Californian business owner Leo Alexandar Robinton as per Daily Mail.
