‘Dance Moms’ Canceled Following Abby Lee Miller's Replacement By Cheryl Burke!
We have learned that the hit dance show Dance Moms has been canceled. After six years on the air, and following Abby Lee Miller’s shocking prison sentence, the TV show is officially over!
The last episode is set to air on Tuesday, October 31.
Despite the fact that Miller left to serve her one year and one day long sentence, the dance teacher got replaced with Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke.
However, it looks like the show could not go on without Abby.
Before the announcement was made officially by the network, a few cast members, as well as moms teased the decision.
‘I am growing up, the show’s been a great platform, but it is time to move on. During the show, I could not take all the opportunities that I wanted to, and now since I am off the show I am getting to do what I want to do,’ Nia Sioux said last week during her interview with Teen Vogue.
Camryn Bridges also took to social media to post about their latest competition, saying ‘That’s a wrap!’
Amid the cancelation scandal, the show will be taking a week of hiatus and will return on October 3.
Abby Lee Miller has not opened up about the show being canceled yet, but she did predict some time ago that Dance Moms will not be able to survive without her.
