Dakota Fanning Remembers The Late Brittany Murphy With Flashback Friday Photo - 'She Made Every day Of Filming Magical'
The 24-year-old actress is paying tribute to the late Brittany Murphy. Dakota Fanning took to social media yesterday to post a touching throwback pic that featured her and Murphy on the set of Uptown Girls.
In the 2003 movie, Murphy played Fanning’s nanny.
The sweet snap shows the two posing for the camera by smiling from ear to ear and throwing their arms into the air!
As fans definitely remember, the actress unexpectedly passed away at the age of only 32 years old, in December of 2009.
‘#fbf Brittany Murphy was a ray of sunshine that made every day of filming magical for me #uptowngirls ☀,’ Fanning captioned the throwback photo.
Brittany Murphy lost her life on December 20, 2009, after suddenly collapsing in her own bathroom at her Hollywood Hills home.
The cause of death, determined later by the Los Angeles County coroner, was pneumonia combined with a case of anemia.
But that is not all. The actress was also affected by a ‘multiple drug intoxication’ caused by prescription as well as over-the-counter medication.
Murphy is most known for her role in the 1995 classic film Clueless as well as the movie 8 Mile she starred in alongside Eminem in 2002.
She also starred in 1999’s Girl, Interrupted with Angelina Jolie but also in romantic comedies Just Married in 2003 and Little Black Book in 2004.
In Just Married she acted alongside her, at the time, real-life boyfriend Ashton Kutcher.
Brittany Murphy was a wonderful actress and human being, and we can totally understand how much she must have impacted the young Dakota Fanning.
