It is time once again for another Duggar wedding, and now Counting Fans can get all of the details of John David Duggar and Abbie Grace Burnett’s upcoming nuptials, thanks to the Facebook page Life Is Not All Pickles and Hairspray. The page, which focuses on Duggar family news, posted a pic this past weekend of Duggar and Burnett’s wedding invitation and revealed that the couple will tie the knot on November 3rd in Burnett’s hometown of Stratford, Oklahoma.
The front of the invitation features a picture of Duggar and Burnett standing next to each other while holding hands and smiling. They are standing on a small airport runway in front of one of the Duggar planes. Of course, as Counting On fans know, the second-oldest Duggar son is a licensed pilot, and he often flew from his home in Tontitown, Arkansas, to Oklahoma to visit Burnett while they were courting.
This pic matches Duggar’s airport-themed marriage proposal that took place in July. The 28-year-old Duggar and 26-year-old Burnett had announced their courtship just one month earlier, but it appears that they courted for a few months before making their relationship public.
Unlike his siblings, Duggar and Burnett waited until their mid-to-late twenties to get married. Except for Jinger’s husband, Jeremy Vuolo — who was 29 on his wedding day — John David and his bride-to-be are the oldest Duggar offspring couple to get married.
But, if you are thinking about crashing the party, the Duggars have a plan to keep uninvited guests from witnessing the ceremony.
“The invite says they are going to be very strict about who enters the church. Only RSVP people allowed due to seating limitations,” reports the Pickles and Hairspray page. “The reception is going to be quite different from what we’ve seen in the past.”
According to Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Abbie Grace Burnett went dress shopping this past weekend at the family’s favorite bridal shop, Renee’s Bridal in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. Earlier this week, the store posted pics on their Facebook page of a TLC camera crew filming at the shop, and added the caption, “So this happened again in the quiet of a Sunday afternoon. Stay tuned for the who, the what, and the when.”
When you have as many weddings as the Duggars, it makes sense to have a go-to bridal store, and Renee’s has provided modest bridal gowns for John David Duggar’s sisters Jinger and Joy-Anna, as well as his sister-in-law, Kendra.
November is also a popular month for Duggar weddings. Jessa married Ben Seewald on November 1, 2016, and Jinger married Vuolo on November 5, 2016.
