Another Duggar daughter has embraced the scandalous fashion trend of wearing pants. Jessa Duggar Seewald recently shared a video on Instagram of her 1-year-old son Henry playing with a toy car. But, eagle-eyed fans noticed – with just a split-second glimpse – that Seewald was wearing a pair of skin-tight leggings.
Is the mom-of-two following in her sister’s Jill and Jinger’s footsteps and starting to rebel against her family’s strict rules?
Jinger and Jill have been rocking pants on-and-off for a few months now, but this is the first time that fans have seen Jessa break the strict family dress code.
However, she has a long way to go to catch up with Jinger. In addition to wearing pants, the mom-to-be has shown off tank tops, sneakers, and skirts that hit above the knee.
In their 2014 book Growing Up Duggar, the girls explained that they dress modestly because their bodies are a gift from God and only shared with their husbands. They wrote that they make it a habit to avoid low-cut and bare-shoulder tops.
But, now that the girls are married, they seemed to have changed their tune a bit.
In addition to being a new pants-wearer, Jessa is also the focus of a new mini-scandal concerning the safety of her children, Henry and Spurgeon.
Best friends forever. ? I thank God for giving me such a caring, compassionate, patient, thoughtful, understanding, selfless, loving, godly husband. I’m reminded daily just how blessed I am to be married to you. I don’t know another man who is as quick to ask forgiveness when he messes up as you are. I don’t know another dad who is more involved in the diapers, cuddles, wrestling matches and training moments as you are. I don’t know another man who is as sensitive to the emotions and feelings of others as you are. You’re a priceless treasure. God blessed me beyond in giving me you.
Fans recently noticed something interesting about Jessa’s home address. Apparently, if you look on Google maps, Jessa, her husband Ben, and their boys live right next to Interstate 49.
But, this isn’t just any highway. It is one of the most dangerous spots in the country, and the Seewalds don’t have a fence around their property.
Every little thing the Seewalds do is under intense fan scrutiny. Last week, Jessa shared an Instagram story featuring Spurgeon reading a book. In the video, baby Henry is playing in a clean and empty fireplace.
Even though Henry was in no danger, fans basically lost their mind. The comments started flying about Jessa’s questionable parenting skills. Such is the life of a Duggar.
The Seewalds will return to TV later this month in the new season of Counting On, and in the new trailer, the family looks busier than ever.
Three couples are expecting their first baby – Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth, Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo, and Joseph and Kendra Duggar – and it looks like fans are going to get the chance to get a closer look into each relationship while they travel, move, and figure out life without chaperones.
Jessa Duggar returns when Season 7 of Counting On premieres Monday, February 26th on TLC.
