Counting On - Josiah Duggar & Lauren Swanson Celebrate Second Wedding Anniversary As They Enjoy Life As New Parents To Baby Bella - See The Sweet Pics!
Counting On stars Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson have a lot to be thankful for. The couple recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary, and they are enjoying watching their daughter Bella Milagro grow up during her first year of life. Their sweet baby girl will turn one on November 8.
When Duggar and Swanson celebrated their second anniversary on June 30, Josiah wrote an emotional post on their joint Instagram account. He told their 795K followers that on that day two years ago, he had the privilege of marrying the love of his life.
“It seems like yesterday, that the most beautiful girl in the whole world was walking down the aisle to begin our lifelong journey together,” wrote Duggar.
He went on to say that as they celebrated their anniversary, he was reminded of the day when he first fell in love with Swanson. Josiah described it as that “you know, when you know” moment.
“I instantly knew, somehow, someday, you would be my wife. You have changed my life forever and for the better. You have brought so much joy and fun into my life. Thank you for always encouraging me to dream bigger, inspiring me to drawing closer to Christ, and I love coming home from work to my two favorite girls!” wrote Duggar.
He concluded his post by writing that he couldn’t imagine life without Swanson. He also referred to his wife as “sugar” and told her that he loved her “so much,” and signed off on the note as “Your guy - Si.”
Not long after their anniversary, Duggar and Swanson’s daughter Bella hit the 8-month mark. The proud parents have been regularly posting pics of their little girl ever since she arrived, but new episodes of Counting On are a little behind and showing what life was like for Josiah and Lauren in the weeks leading up to Bella’s birth.
In a preview for an upcoming episode, Josiah and his brother John David - who was also expecting a baby at the time with his wife, Abbie Grace Burnett - attend a childbirth class with their wives and find out just how uncomfortable pregnancy is.
In the clip, the dads-to-be wear a device that is controlled by their wives, and it simulates the pain of pregnancy and childbirth. The class instructor gives both Swanson and Burnett a device that controls their husbands’ “contractions” by shocking them.
“Turn up the pain. Ouch! The tables are turned when the guys get a chance to feel some labor pains,” reads the video’s caption.
New episodes of Counting On air Tuesday nights on TLC.
