The Real Housewives of New York will be adding a new cast member next season – and she has close ties with LuAnn de Lesseps. Ahead of her cabaret show at New York’s Feinstein’s/54 Below, the RHONY star confirmed that one of her close friends is joining the cast in Season 11.
De Lesseps did not reveal the name of the new cast member but she did confirm that it is a close friend. There is no telling who the new cast member is, but we do know that de Lesseps’ friend Barbara Kavovit allegedly filmed some scenes for next season.
According to Page Six, Kavovit got in front of the cameras as a tryout for the new season. If that is the case, then there is a good chance producers liked what they saw and decided to give her a full-time part.
Aside from the casting news, de Lesseps revealed that she will get into a lot of fights with Bethenny Frankel next season. We do not know what the women fought about, but it is not very surprising that they are at odds once again.
Although de Lesseps has a lot of drama ahead of her, at least her cabaret shows are doing well. After consistently selling out, the RHONY star was forced to add a few dates to the schedule, which is definitely a promising sign.
